I’m inspired when a member business of my downtown community celebrates their first anniversary.
And their second. And their fifth.
It’s quite rewarding to know that a fledgling entrepreneur chose our community of business and put themselves out to the world with a downtown address.
To stand shoulder to shoulder with them as they celebrate business milestones, knowing that me and my team played some small part in their success, is a constant inspiration.
Q : WHAT IS YOUR MISSION AND PURPOSE?
My professional mission is a simple one: to promote and enhance a healthy downtown business district.
Personally, my mission includes crafting innovative partnerships and community building so as to increase the vitality and health of our business community. I’m blessed to work with brilliant people who strive to set the bar higher and higher each year. That is personally enriching.
Q: HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED?
For my 25+ years of work.
Like most community builders, the work is seemingly never done. And in the case of our downtown, that’s a good thing.
The projects that I’ve been involved in over the years are a means to an end. That end is the development of a business community that is healthy, envied and robust, with a strong reputation for excellence.
